A Brief Bio
I live in a beautiful town in Kent in England with my husband and two children. Most days I drop the children off to school, do a few chores and then settle down to write or paint.
I've been writing now for about three years but before that I did lots of different things. I spent over ten years working as a management consultant, about two years as a senior civil servant, and odd years as an artist, a stockbroker, a teacher and a fairy dress manufacturer. And I've also spent an unreasonable amount of time at university, studying physics, art history and herbal medicine. So I suppose you could say I've never really grown up properly. Maybe that's why I write for children.
And for the last few months, I've been painting again.
